A beautiful spot with private beach and new dock.
We had a wonderful time. The owners were very attentive. A step back in time to simpler days. Just what we needed.

Could not be happier...
Found this place on a whim, and could not be happier we did! We stayed the week after Labor Day, so it really could not have been quieter, and that was exactly what we were looking for! We enjoyed a week of kayaking, reading under the beautiful pine tree, playing cards on the porch, eating and napping!!! Bald eagles, great blue heron, all the wildlife one could ask for! The owner was the perfect host - stopping by to make sure we had everything we needed, but not intrusive in any way. Clean and simply provided. Loved it so much we already re-booked for next year

Extremely private 'Daniel Boone' Cabin
If you love the lake, and the woods, privacy, don't mind a few cob webs, don't mind no TV, WiFi, need to bring your own drinking water. Faucet water comes from the Lake. Cabin has a small outside building with 2 twin beds in it. Inside the cabin are also 2 twin beds. The inside is one large room with a fire place. If one of you wants to sleep, anyone else in the cabin you'll be able to hear. Nice screened in porch with direct view of the lake. Had my 2 dogs with me. Lots of beach area for them to enter water (not shown in this picture). Kitchen has everything you'd need. Ice Cream won't freeze in the refrigerator. Property is entered via a long dirt road-great for walking dogs, etc. Perhaps bring a tarp to cover your car windshield to keep pitch off. Wonderful place to rest. Bring a boat, canoe, kayak, water toys, etc. Bring your radio and there IS a DVD player. Bring an extra blanket for cool nights (no heat). Wood is available. There is a small grill.

Well kept Cabin, The property owner was very nice. I had several encounters with him. I saw so many birds and even had deer greet me in the morning.

Perfect
This truly was a cabin in the woods. The cabin was so quaint and rustic, yet had all of the essentials. The area was very wooded and private, but there was still lots to watch in the water. The water and private beach area was beautiful as well. It really was exactly what we had hoped for. Walks in the woods always brought us a deer sighting. It was perfect for children as they had lots to explore, with no danger of traffic. We will be back!!

Magical place
The house is secluded and it is right on the lake with a perfect little beach and amazingly clear water. The house itself is a little too rustic, but it has all the essentials and has a cozy feel to it. Screened porch is very convinient. The owners live in the area and they were available and helpful. We have really enjoyed our stay, the kids would not come out of the water. We are hoping to come back next summer. Thanks to the owners for making this amazing place available to us!

Perfect rustic cabin vacation
It was everything we were looking for, quiet, beautiful views, water was great. The unexpected pleasure, we met one of the owners, Hollis and the history and the stories were fantastic. Such a nice man. We got to see many deer and a baby fawn.

Long Island Cabin
Positives: Very enjoyable location, lots of wildlife, store located just off Long Island, owner was very helpful and informative, cabin was clean and well stocked. Negatives: Dock not accessable by boat during our time frame, no fresh water located at sight, must haul fresh water down from owners house, no fire pit.

Great Location with Privacy
I stayed here with my family and our labrador retreiver. The cabin and the location made for a perfect few days. The location is great, with few neighbors and the peace and quiet you may not get at other locations, and the 3-season cabin has the right blend of convenience and rustic quality. We enjoyed the beach and it was great having the dock so that we could tie up our boat to come and go as we please to fish and play in the water. Our dog may have enjoyed it most of all with as much jumping in the water and swimming as he could take. Thank you! We would definitely return!

Cozy Rustic Cottage
Property was very rustic and located at the end of a 1 mile dirt road. DONT TRY AND TRAILER YOUR BOAT TO THE PROPERTY. Everything one needs is located in this cute, private and cozy property. The location is IDEAL. Extreamly relaxing and laid back. Love this spot, the house and the dock. We will be back.

Rustic cabin with a million dollar view
This property is one of a kind on the lake. The Cabin is authentic and a step back in time when vacations on a lake where about being on the lake and the experience of being outdoors surrounded by nature and all its beauty. If you want to step back to 1930’s this is it. Million dollar view and total relaxation. The best vacation we ever had. The best also for the dogs. A true slice of heaven!

Rustic old fashioned vacation cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay was a step back in time where we could leave the electronics at home and forget about the TV for a week. The way it used to be. A beautiful beach to enjoy and a fantastic property. The owner is a great man who obviously loves his hidden gem of a cottage and rightly so.Make no mistake it is rustic and basic which is what we were looking for.We tend to spend most of time outside on the waters edge which is very peaceful at night and early in the morning. If you are looking to go back in time to a cottage in a very special setting this place can't be beat.If your looking for modern appliances, big comfortable beds and squeaky clean than this may not be for you.We will definitely be returning next year, it was perfect for our needs and the owner is as helpful and genuine as it gets.
